The Personnel Department is charged with the responsibility of assisting the Supervisor, the Town Board and the Directors of the various departments in achieving and maintaining the approved levels of staffing with the most qualified employees.  The Department interacts with the state and the county to insure the proper administration of civil service rules and regulations.  It is responsible for fostering both employee and union relations.  The Department maintains personnel records.  The Personnel Department acts as a conduit for information and services concerning employee benefits for all current and retired Town employees.
